This led to fight promoter Rodney Berman having to disqualify Sakkreenin and postpone the fight from March 22 to Thursday.Sakkreenins antics hogged international headlines as it was the first time a fighter refused to submit to a medical examination leaving Berman fuming and Boxing SA threatening to formulate charges of fraud to have the Thai fighter arrested.
We asked Sakkreenin and his manager to leave Emperors Palace immediately, said Berman, and he can pay for his own flight back to Thailand.
